A Disruption Tolerant Distributed Routing Algorithm in LEO Satellite Networks

چکیده

The low earth orbit (LEO) constellation network has become a promising approach to provide global communication services, due its advantages in wide coverage, transmission delay, and convenient networking. However, the instability of intersatellite laser terminal high relative speed between adjacent satellites cause frequent topology changing problems for data routing. In this paper, disruption tolerant distributed routing algorithm (DTDR) is proposed, where calculate alternate path when changes, which improves performance packet loss. Specifically, each satellite maintains link (ISL) information within specified number hops. When an ISL state changes hops, corresponding calculates switches detour path. Furthermore, traffic balanced through process. Various simulations were constructed show that proposed outperforms existing terms loss ratio delay.

Datagram Routing Algorithm for LEO Satellite Networks

Abstmct Satellite networks provide global coverage and support a wide range of services. Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites provide short round trip delays and are becoming increasingly important. One of the challenges in LEO satellite networks is the development of specialized and efflcient routing algorithms. In this work, a datagram routing algorithm for LEO satellite networks is introduced. T...

Distributed Traffic Balancing Routing for LEO Satellite Networks

Satellite networks have been widely investigated both in the business and academia for many years, with many important routing algorithms reported in the literatures. However, fewer existing routing algorithms focus on the trade-off between the routing survivability and the routing computation and storage overheads. Due to topological dynamics, it is difficult to effectively apply the conventio...

Explaining Routing Performance in Disruption Tolerant Networks

Many routing algorithms for both traditional and ad hoc networks require a complete and contemporaneous path of peers from source to destination. Disruption Tolerant Networks (DTNs) attempt to deliver messages despite a frequently disconnected link layer (e.g., due to peer mobility, limited communication range, and power management limitations). While several algorithms have been proposed for r...
